I would like to devote December’s astrology status to a discussion of a crucially important astrological event that took place on November 12, 2015, UT, the North Node’s Virgo ingress.

In recent months, I have discussed the world’s gradual emergence from a social, political and economic imbalance that massively favored the 1%. This imbalance was caused by a planetary arrangement that first went into effect in the early 1980s. Roughly 30 years of this imbalance left the world’s social, economic and political systems in very serious need of reform.

Since 2010, when Uranus began its transition into Aries, we have seen a series of astrological events that helped ease this destructive imbalance and stoked the fires of activism, protest and reform.

The Cold Gray Light of a Brand New Dawn

Most recently, in November, Saturn re-entered Sagittarius for the full transit, forming a mutable T-Square with Jupiter in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces.

With this, Saturn came back into its own. It began casting everything in a much more realistic, sobering light. Sober analysis began winning out over the simplistic, deceptive, inflammatory, fear-based rhetoric of recent years. At the same time, Saturn set its sober, disciplined energies against the expansive, idealistic, optimistic, but often unrealistic energies of Jupiter and Neptune.

A Side Note about Saturn

The last time Saturn transited Sagittarius, in the mid-late 80s, it was already under the distorting influences that brought the dangerous social, economic and political imbalances into global life. In effect, then, we are just now beginning to look at many issues with a clarity and rigor that we have not known since Saturn was in Sagittarius in 1956, nearly sixty years ago and farther back than most of us today can remember with any clarity.

The North Node and Global Dharma

The North Node is the soul of a chart. It transforms a collection of loosely related astrological facts into a whole that works synergistically, synchronistically and unerringly toward the realization of some larger, spiritual evolutionary purpose, regardless of outward appearances. The North Node sets the world’s dharma for a particular cycle.
北節點是一個星象圖表的靈魂。

Astrological charts as a whole advance the spiritual evolutionary priority - Global Dharma - set by the North Node. They do it one way or another, with carrots and sticks, by hook or by crook, with vinegar and honey, with incentives and disincentives and more or less obviously.

Basically, those who further the priority set by the North Node experience positive synchronicity. Those who resist it meet with negative synchronicity.

At the moment, the mutable T-Square formed by Jupiter in Virgo, Saturn in Sagittarius and Neptune in Pisces is the dominant astrological formation. When the North Node moved into Virgo, the dynamic of the mutable T-Square merged with the dynamic of global spiritual evolution - the quest to fulfill global dharma. The two most powerful influences in current charts combined forces.
目前，木星在處女座，土星在射手座, 而海王星在雙魚座~~
所形成的變易性的T型廣場~~是當前主要的星象現象。

A Jupiter/Saturn/Neptune T-Square Under Normal Circumstances
The mutable T-Square, considered by itself, sets up a three-way contest between Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn, each in its respective mutable sign.

Taken by itself, the mutable T-Square would apply chart by chart, person by person, nation by nation. People all over the world, at every level, would be doing recognizably similar things in different areas of their individual and collective lives.

The North Node, which functions on a meta level, will affect every person in every nation and, in that way, influence the nature and progress of reform movements. It will coordinate all of these efforts in the service of a single higher purpose. But, for now, that purpose does not seem to be to meld existing reform efforts into a single, unified effort at global reform.

I know that many want to see a global surge - a rapid and sustained acceleration - of progressive reform. We want to see the collective consciousness lit brightly from within with a burning enthusiasm for sensible, realistic, practical, lasting, but above all, quick reform.

The charts, then, are talking more about process than they are about substance, or content.The planets are saying that rather than a shared passion for reform, the people of the world will develop a shared passion for careful reasoning, guided by a will to heal, uplift and preserve, colored by a will to fairness and compassion.That is not the same thing as a unified global reform movement.

T-Square + North Node = ∞

The mutable T-Square is currently the dominant aspect in the heavens and it will remain so for about a year. Taken by itself, the T-Square would encourage a painstaking but even-handed approach to balancing the energies of Neptune in Pisces, Jupiter in Virgo and Saturn in Sagittarius. Each angle in the T-Square would get its fair share of influence and attention.
變易的T型廣場是目前在天上的主導方位，

The North Node in Virgo changes that. It works decisively against an even-handed, balanced response to the T-Square. It adds a strong, all but total bias in favor of Jupiter in Virgo at the expense of Neptune in Pisces and Saturn in Sagittarius.

The North Node in Virgo tells us that working through the energy of Jupiter in Virgo is most important now and will yield the best results. By the same token, working to understand the meaning of Jupiter in Virgo and giving those energies proper expression is the most important and valuable thing we can do.

The participation of the Moon’s nodes also multiplies the importance and dramatically amplifies the power of the T-Square. It elevates the power of the T-Square to transcendent levels.

It guarantees that a violation of the principles at work in the T-square will have especially serious consequences. The North and South Nodes in large part determine the location of eclipses, also. That further increases the certainty and seriousness of consequences for sidestepping the North Node mandate.

It is true that the components of a T-Square will always tend to vary in importance and relative power. However, the North Node in Virgo tilts the astrological balance of power very heavily in favor of Jupiter in Virgo.

We must find answers that combine Virgo’s exhaustive attention to detail with Jupiter’s inexhaustible benevolence to produce a result that will further the highest good of all.
我們再不能炮製出冰冷的，無情的數據

Factoring in Saturn and Neptune

As just explained, the chief focus of the T-Square, now that the North Node is part of it, is to reconcile the profoundly paradoxical archetypal tensions between Virgo and Jupiter. But it will still be necessary to factor in the effects of the opposition from Neptune and the Square from Saturn.

The biggest karmic and dharmic ‘threats’ are from Neptune in Pisces. The South Node, in its own way, is a very magnetic point. It attracts us because it is the path of least resistance. Accordingly, many will want to retreat into spiritual sentimentality and reassuring but empty platitudes.
最大的業力和法緣“威脅”
來自在雙魚座的海王星。南交點，

With the North Node in Virgo, the universe is requiring a strictly concrete, down-to-earth, hands-on, service-oriented approach to issues. We must de-emphasize, de-prioritize, the strictly spiritual, idealistic and abstract. In today’s energetic climate, Neptunian glamour will not substitute for Virgoan service. If we find a place for the appropriate use of Neptune’s positive qualities, that will be OK, though.
隨著北交點在處女座，
宇宙是要求一種嚴格的, 非常具體的，
腳踏實地的，身體力行的，
以及以服務為原則的處理問題的方法。

Responses inspired or influenced exclusively or primarily by the South Node, i.e, spirituality, will carry negative synchronicity. We must guard especially well against the illusions, seductions and escapism of Neptune or a simple dogmatic appeal to spiritual principle and no recourse to facts or action in the real world.The North Node could tax us very heavily for falling back on this kind of South Node solution - or non-solution.
完全或主要由南交點所引起的回應或影響
~~例如靈性，將帶著負面同時性事件發生。
我們必須警惕, 特別是針對海王星的幻想，
誘惑和逃避主義, 或是對簡單的老舊過時的

The same general kind of thinking applies to the square from Saturn. The emphasis will always be on the Jupiter/Virgo dynamic. We will have to draw upon Saturn’s strengths, all the while strictly avoiding Saturn’s negativity and rigidity and its harsher, colder qualities.

Major Reality Checks and Wake Up Calls

The mutable T-Square, now augmented by the North Node, will very soon begin confronting us with the errors of our ways. The consequences of poor decisions and past failures will arrive at our doorstep.

In more general terms, under the influence of this mutable T-Square with its Saturnian, Neptunian and Jupiterian emphasis, we will all have to dig much, much deeper and more carefully to find the answers we seek. We will also have to face much deeper, more penetrating questions than we are used to facing and do so with far greater honestly. Probably with painful honesty.
更一般地說，這種可變易的T型廣場，

The North Node determines what feels right and natural in the collective consciousness, what will feel right on the collective level, to the masses of people. It determines what people think the universe wants during a given cycle.

If we screw up, our friends and neighbors might not be quite so forgiving as they once were. Everybody will be in the mood to dish out a little tough love. Besides, everyone will be trying to answer their own quota of hard questions and dealing with their own dose of tough love.

It is true, as I said, a desire for careful reasoning guided by compassion will infuse collective consciousness. However, the kind of compassion in question is the kind that can only come after a lot of tough questions are asked and answered and some hard realities are faced honestly.

The mutable T-Square is embedded in a bracelet of positive supportive aspects. Jupiter is trine Pluto. Saturn is semi-sextile Pluto and trine Uranus. I have discussed this strongly supportive, sycnhronistic set up in the past.

木星與冥王星三分相。土星是半六合冥王星與天王星三分相。

If you do find yourself confronted with some hard or seemingly impossible choices, step back. There are answers out there. You just need to look for them.

And be willing to change your mind about a few things, eat some crow, show a little humility and wipe that egg off your face. And perhaps be willing to do a little more leg work.
